Grand Prairie Intoxication Manslaughter Case

On August 15, 2009, a 27-year-old Grand Prairie resident was arrested on charges of intoxicated manslaughter. Authorities allege that the 27-year-old man struck a bicyclist with his vehicle in the 3400 block of E. Main Street in Grand Prairie, TX. The defendant is being held on $150,000 bail.

The defendant's' family hired a criminal defense team comprised of Dallas attorneys Michael Grossman, Keith Purdue, and former Texas judge Neil Pask.

A note from attorney Michael Grossman:

The death of the aforementioned bicyclist is indeed a tragedy and our thoughts are with his loved ones. The comments showcased on public message boards and news websites have illustrated the type of opinions shared by many toward our client. While such opinions are to be expected and are accepted as conventional, in cases such as this, it is imperative to remember that those who are accused of such crimes are innocent until proven guilty.

Regardless of the circumstances surrounding his arrest, our client has a right to a fair trial by an impartial jury. Myself and my co-counsel have every intention of ensuring that impartiality and fairness are present throughout this case.
